As a family man and successful local small business owner, Tom understands why a focus on small business makes sense for Red Hook's future economic development. Married 20 years with two kids, Tom also coaches baseball and soccer, is a founder of the Upper Red Hook Neighborhood Association and a member of the Red Hook Chamber of Commerce.

In his work as legislator, Tom promises to prioritize tax reform and support for the local business community. He also sees a need to address people's growing concerns about local drinking water safety and about unplanned development threatening Red Hook's quality of life. Given his experience and insights into the needs of the local community, Tom will ensure that Red Hook's tax dollars are spent wisely.
